This Salvador Dali Softwatch by Demart is inspired by Dali's painting "The
Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory" and features a surrealist case design with Roman numerals to the dial. The Softwatch was first launched in 1990 and were made for a relatively short period, with Exaequo eventually being closed down in 1998 owing to a lack of permission to use Salvador Dali's name on the watches.
Softwatches have become a cult collectable watch given their unique design and history.
This particular unisex watch is a lesser-seen
Demart example with the serial number 200060, featuring a different but very attractive case design to the typical Exaequo-branded pieces on the market.
. The watch features a blue dial with white numerals and the trademark Salvador Dalí signature to the dial and case back. It is twinned to its original blue leather strap and pin buckle.
